Kool April Nites

Like to check out Vintage and old cars? Redding California hosts one of the best Classic Car Shows in the US. With only room for a few hundred cars, contestant are turned away every year due to the popularity of this event. This years show is on April 16 and lasts most of the week. My favorite part of the show is the Friday night Cruze. Most of the cars in the show and a bunch of local cars cruze the streets of redding to entertain the viewers sitting on the side of the street. We always bring a picnic dinner, and of course a camera or two. The show attracts a wide variety of contestants with some newer souped up cars, roadsters, monster trucks, Antique cars and hundreds of classics. Contestants come from all over the US to show of their restored babies. The main show is on Saturday, where all of the contestant cars are parked at the Redding Civic on the lawn, in the parking, with the top cars getting star billing on the converted "Showroom" floor in the auditorium itself.
