Lollipop Vs. Car Show
By Dwayne Goerges of www.arizonascarshows.com/
Lollipop, Car Show, 5 year old, Enthusiast, Classic Car. If I were to tell you I can make a perfectly logical sentence while using of these five phrases, your reaction would probably be “Go smoke another one Bro” to loosely quote a perfectly good Adam Sandler movie. While the statement that 50 First Dates is a perfectly good Adam Sandler movie, is really an opinion not actually a fact, the statement that a Classic Car Enthusiast gets just as excited when hears word of a Car Show as a 5 Year Old gets when his mother hands him a Lollipop is by all definitions, fact. If you wish to contest this statement, we can solve the issue once and for by running a simple experiment. The Experiment Step 1. Find a 5 year old and a full grown classic enthusiast. Step 2. Take high resolution photos of both subjects from equal distances. Step 3. Using said photos measure the distance from the bottom eyelid to the top eyelid of both subjects, giving us an accurate measurement of perceived size of the individual’s eyeball in a normal state (how big their eye appears). Step 4. Introduce each subject to a foreign object. In the case of the 5 year old, his mother hands him a large lollipop (we would refrain from handing the lollipop to the child ourselves avoiding any stranger/candy issues). In the case of the full grown classic car enthusiast, he would be handed a flyer notifying him that one of the nation’s largest car shows will be in a nearby city. In the case of both subjects another photo, at an equal distance as the original, would be taken at the exact moment each are handed their foreign object. (note: photo may be difficult do to the immense amount of jumping, running in circles and overall volume level on the part of both subjects). Step 5. Compare original photos with photos taken when the foreign object was introduced. It will be quickly noticeable that the size of the perceivable eyeball of both test subjects has greatly increased in size, appearing to actually leave the eyeball socket. With further investigation and closer measurement it will be noted that visible eyeball surface area is 1.5 to 2.0 times greater than that of the original photos in both cases. Or to put it simply, in both cases their eyes get quite large. The Results With this evidence we can accurately come to the conclusion that a Classic Car Enthusiast gets just as excited when hears word of a Car Show as a 5 Year Old gets when his mother hands him a Lollipop. Alright, I know pushing it a little bit, right? It might be a little bit of an exaggeration, but a car enthusiast’s eyes get pretty big when he hears of an upcoming car show. That’s definitely no lie. Big Boy Candy Shops Just like lollipops, car shows can be found in candy shops. Different types of candy shops of course. These candy shops are for big boys, they help car enthusiasts find car shows in their area. Like lollipops car shows come in all shapes in sizes. Big ones, small ones, community sponsored, nationwide sponsored, you name it. They come in all different flavors too. There are car shows that mainly show off classic cars of course, but there are also many other types of car shows. Some feature choppers and street bikes others modern luxury and sports cars and yet others whose main attractions are show cars and custom build vehicles. Whatever shape, size and flavor you prefer; these big boy candy shops can help you find what you are looking for. One of them specializes in helping people find any and all automotive events going on in the state of Arizona, ArizonasCarShows.com. If you are in the area and are looking for something to do this weekend check out ArizonasCarShows.com’s big boy candy shop, the 2011 Car Show Calendar. Yes, your eyes are getting bigger already.

:) Sounds great!. I didn't get a chance to check that one out. Last I heard the owner was selling his collection. Haven't heard anything else since, is the museum still open?
Haven't been there in ages, I'm back in the North East now. Checked the web site and it's not there anymore. Darn. That and Talladega were the high points of my last stint in the South.
