SEO 101 Using Top AdSense Keywords
By Dwayne Goerges of www.topwebsitetips.com
If you're using AdSense on your site as a means to generate income it's important to know that the theme of your pages can make a huge difference in what you get paid each time someone clicks on an AdSense ad. Click amounts can vary from less than a cent per click to $30, $40 per click or even higher. How much you get paid is determined by the keywords used on the page. Using high Paying Keywords “But none of my sites keywords are high paying keywords” is a common misconception. Quite often there are a large number of top keywords that will produce good paying clicks that will fit the theme of your site. With a little thought you can often take a keyword and apply it naturally to the theme of your site. Let’s take for example “mesothelioma”. High Paying Keyword Example “Mesothelioma? I can’t even pronounce the word let alone write an article about it! Besides how am I going to get that to fit on my ‘Mommy’s Advise’ site?” It’s not as tough as you think, and it is not really even a stretch. First let’s consider the rewards for trying. The term mesothelioma can produce clicks well into the double digits $20 - $40 clicks are not out of the question so it’s worth a little effort. First let’s do a little research. What is mesothelioma? A quick search tells me that it is a cancer that is usually caused by exposure to asbestos. “OK, well my Mommy’s advise site doesn’t deal in asbestos so that words a bust right?” Nope! Keep researching! Ah, interesting. Many schools used to use ceiling tiles, pipe wraps and other isolating items that contain asbestos. Starting to get a little warmer now! Now, give that piece of information a little thought. Is that something your average “Mommy” might want to know if her child is going to an older school? I’m thinking that the answer is Yes! I’m also thinking you might just have a topic for a new article on your “Mommy’s Advice” site. Do you think some of the Mommies on your site might click on an article titled “Asbestos in the Classroom, should you be worried?” or “Is your child’s school Asbestos free?”. While you're unlikely to rank well in the search engines for these highly competitive terms there is a good chance you can get some traffic from your existing site giving them something that would be of interest and possibly get some clicks. Mesothelioma is one of those high paying keywords that would actually work well on a very large number of sites all it takes is a little research to find out why it may be of interest to your current visitors. Search Rankings for High Paying Keywords If you’re hoping to have your article rank well in the search engines for the keyword of choice I’m going to have to disappoint you with that one. In all likelihood a single page on a website is not going to rank well on any of the top keywords. These keywords are highly competitive and usually require a site dedicated to the subject and highly optimized for the keyword. Not to worry though. You’re first source of traffic is likely to be your current site visitors, so make sure your link titles are interesting and likely to get clicked on. But getting some search engine referrals isn’t out of the question. Long tail Searches for High Paying Keywords One advantage to adding these keywords to your site is that you are likely already ranking for some set of terms. In the case of our “Mommy’s Advice” site, probably keywords related to children are pretty high on the list. By adding the high paying keywords “Mesothelioma” and “asbestos” you have a very good change of ranking for a high number of searches related to those two high ranking keywords with children related keywords. To do this, make sure that your main site keywords are located in close proximity to the high paying keywords in the article. While the pages using these high paying keywords shouldn’t make up the bulk of your sites articles, they make great supplementary pages that can greatly boost you AdSense revenue. There are a lot of sites that list the highest paying AdSense keywords, but if you need a little more help on how to apply these keywords into your own website stop by www.topwebsitetips.com page on “top AdSense Keywords”.

Another good Intel. Keep up the good work. Have a nice day.
So THAT's why I keep running across this 'mesothelioma'. But you know, I don't have a Mommy's Advice blog. I write mostly about SEO. I don't see how I can fold 'mesothelioma' into an article about... Ahhhhhh! You smart fox you.
